Ein weiteres Highlight von Jekaterinburg ist das Jelzin Centre. Der ehemalige Präsident Russlands stammte aus der Nähe von hier und war jahrelang Parteisekretär vom Swerdlowsk ( so hieß die Stadt früher).
Das Zentrum ist ein bisschen Jelzinpropaganda, aber es zeigt auch zum Teil einen guten Einblick in den russischen Alltag der 80er und 90er Jahre.

Another highlight of the city is the Yeltsin Centre. The former president of Russia was born near by and was als secretary of the communist party in Sverdlovsk (the former name of the city).
The centre has a lit bit too much Yeltsin propaganda, but you get a good view in the normal Russian life of the Eighties and Nineties.
